Mitchell went to Rockridge Secondary for her early childhood, before transferring to West Vancouver Secondary. In her teens, she had modeled for several companies around the globe. She traveled across the globe to Barcelona, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, ultimately returning home in Toronto and studying acting.
